Free Printable: Gingerbread Treat Boxes

Christmas is all about giving so I had to make you a little something you could share with your loved one. Today’s free printable can hold all kinds of treats and makes a great addition to your stocking stuffer. Just print, cut, fold and glue.

First things first, here is the file:

  Gingerbread House Treat Box

Print however many houses you’ll need. I used a thicker stock of paper. It made for a sturdier box:

Cut out the excess paper. Make sure to keep the extra white tab on the right side and cut into the flaps at the bottom so you can fold them later:

Start folding:

Flip it over and apply glue to the bottom flaps and that white side flap:

Bring it together:

Now fold the top like a milk carton. I found that holding it together with a paper clip overnight really helps:

All done!

Free Printable: Popcorn bucket

After posting pictures of the popcorn cookies, I got a bunch of emails asking me when I’d found the tiny popcorn buckets I used in the photos. Like many of my props, I just made those using Adobe Illustrator. And because you’re all so awesome, here is the file =)

Tiny Popcorn Bucket (2312)

And here is how to put them together:

Print the image on smooth paper. I used a heavier stock to give them a sturdy feel:

Cut out each shape. I used scalloped scissors on the top edge. If you don’t have scalloped scissors, here are some affordable ones:

Fiskars Paper Edgers Scallop

Fold it onto itself:

Glue the side tab and the bottom pieces:

Done!

Free Printables: Gingham Cupcake Wrappers

May 2, 2013 By Francois 3 Comments

So I got a lot of emails about the Gingham Cupcake Wrappers I used for my Butterfly Cupcakes. Seems like I am not the only gingham fan out there. =)

I really wanted gingham to fit in the whole Spring feel of these cupcakes but I could not find anything in my baking supply store. What do you do when you can’t find something? That’s right, you just make it yourself. I’ll admit, it was a little tricky at first to figure out the right curved shape and image distortion settings but I am very happy with the results. And since I love of my readers, I could not think of a better idea than to just share them with you. All you have to do is print, cut, glue and you’re set! =)

I made them in 4 colors. Here is Pink and Yellow:

Here is Green and Purple:

I printed them on regular paper but you can choose and heavier stock:

I used scalloped scissors on the upper edge of each wrapper. I liked it better than a straight line:

I found these scissors at Michael’s. If you don’t have a Michael’s where you live, here is a link to the same product on Amazon for under $5: Fiskars Paper Edgers Scallop

All you have to do now is glue these together and Voilà!
